
Who I am My name is Ria and I am 49 years old. I live and work in the Randstad. I am married, we have a daughter who is studying and we often go to Greece on holiday, since my husband comes from there. I work part time at a transport company, where we arrange transport for old people and the disabled in the Randstad. As you can read on the rest of this site, I have Gaucher disease. Fortunately, I have not had much trouble from this in recent years thanks to my medication (I take Zavesca^® tablets). I am not tired so quickly and I can do almost anything I want. I hope that this site can help other people with Gaucher disease to lead their own lives as much as possible. Because if you let such a disease determine your life, you miss out on a lot.
